The following recipe is a very easy one, very dark y with lot of flavor. Remember to use measuring spoons and measuring cups. This recipe yield 5 cups of batter.
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cup of all purpose flour
2 cups of sugar
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup of vegetable oil
2 tsp dark vanilla
1 cup of boiling water
Preparation:
Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and sift. Add sugar and salt and mix, then add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Beat for 2 minutes at medium speed. Stir in boiling water. The batter will be Thin. Pour in a greased and floured pan. Bake at 325 grades during 35 to 40 minutes.
